Bills sign former small school linebacker; Team releases K Jordan Gay
The Buffalo Bills have signed former North Dakota State linebacker Ramon Humber. Humber is an animal on Special Teams and has really made a name for himself in that category. The Bills traded for a linebacker yesterday who has special teams experience as well. The two will likely compete against one another for a roster spot.
He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He attended Champlin Park High School in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, then played college football at North Dakota State.
In 2015, Humber appeared in 14 games for the Saints and recorded 47 tackles, one sack, and a pass defense.
Bills released Jordan Gay who was their kickoff specialist. The writing was on the wall for him with the new touchback rule.
