#Dolphins have signed veteran defensive end Jason Jones to a one year deal.
Defensive end Jason Jones is headed to Miami to sign a deal with the Dolphins, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media Insiders.
Jones, 29, will add depth to a veteran group of Dolphins defensive ends that includes aging former Pro Bowlers Cameron Wake, 34, and Mario Williams, 31, along with backup Andre Branch, 26. This could be one of the best groups in the NFL. This is a good group of players with tons of sacks.
Jones, a natural edge rusher out of a 4-3 defense, had one of his most productive seasons with the Lions in 2015, starting 15 games while recording 4.5 sacks and 31 tackles.
