Lamar Miller to me is not even a top 10 back in the NFL, but that will not stop him from demanding top 5 money.
According to the Miami Herald the Miami Dolphins are continuing to work on re-signing Miller, but he wants more than $5 million a season and the team would prefer he settle for $5 million or slightly less
There are only five running backs in the NFL right now that are paid more than 5 million a season. Those backs are Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles, LeSean McCoy, DeMarco Murray and Jonathan Stewart.
I am not sure that Miller is better than any of those players. I think the Dolphins would be smart to move on from Miller and sign Matt Forte. He may be cheaper and he is a way better player than Miller.
