The Seattle Seahawks added an intriguing cornerback prospect to their practice squad on Thursday, signing former second-round pick Stanley Jean-Baptiste.

Listed at 6 foot 3 and 218 pounds, the 25-year-old Jean-Baptiste has the size that Seattle likes in its cornerbacks.

Jean-Baptiste was drafted 58th overall by New Orleans in 2014 but played sparingly as a rookie, appearing in only four games. He was waived before the start of the season, went unclaimed and ended up on the Lions’ practice squad. Detroit released him earlier this week.

The team also signed B.J. Daniels to their practice squad.
