The Seattle Seahawks are expected to re-sign Bryce Brown as early as today according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media Insiders. The Seahawks will likely let DeJuan Harris get the start, but they could have to rely on Brown for his veteran presence.

The Buffalo Bills cut Brown in September after acquiring him in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014. The running back has averaged 4.4 yards per carry for 1,004 yards during his career.

Rapoport reported Monday morning on NFL Network’s NFL HQ that Marshawn Lynch is at least a week or two away from returning to action after undergoing sports-hernia surgery last month.
