NFL Draft Diamonds Week 10 Picks and Predictions

nfl draft diamondsLast week we were a measly 7-5, which brings our total to 74-49.  I would like to hit 85 wins by next week, but we will need a huge week.  So let’s see if we can strike gold this week.  Here are our Picks and Predictions for week 10.

Detroit Lions v. Green Bay Packers

The Packers are on a two game losing streak and the Lions are fighting for the first pick. The Packers are 4-0 at home and I would like to assume they can win against the horrible Lions.  The Lions fans do deserve better, but they lose a nail biter 38-35, when Matt Prater misses a 42 yard field goal with 1:00 remaining. .

Dallas Cowboys v. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Dallas Cowboys are streaking in the wrong direction, and Jameis Winston helps that streak stay alive.  The Buccaneers and Mike Evans beat the banged up Cowboys.  Donteea Dye catches the game winning touchdown in the corner of the end zone over Morris Claiborne. Dallas loses 24-23 to the Buccaneers.

Carolina Panthers v. Tennessee Titans

I have been picking against the Panthers all year long, and I will not do it today.  The Titans are coming off a huge win last week against the Saints, but they look like the old Titans after today. Panthers win easily 42 – 21.

Chicago Bears v. St. Louis Rams

I am going to roll with Kyle Long. If he feels the Bears can make the playoffs, then that is how I feel too.  The Rams are streaky like your underwear.  They can beat a big team and lose to a team they should stomp. Bears 17- Rams 13

New Orleans Saints v. Washington Redskins

The Redskins will get Desean Jackson back this week and he will have a huge game against the Saints secondary.  The Redskins defense is a solid team and they are able to apply pressure on Drew Brees.  Redskins win in overtime 23-20.

Miami Dolphins v. Philadelphia Eagles

I think the Dolphins could easily win this game, but I need the Eagles to win and know they will come through for me.  DeMarco Murray and company take out the Dolphins, and several caused turnovers against Tannehill leave him on the hot seat in MIA. Eagles win 34-17 over the Dolphins

Cleveland Browns v. Pittsburgh Steelers

HERE WE GO UPSET SPECIAL….. Johnny Football rallies the troops and takes down their division rival in a huge way. Manziel scrambles for 100 yards, and throws for 175 yards as the Browns dominate the Steelers without Big Ben.  The Steelers are looking past the Browns and the Browns defense finally steps up. Browns 24 – Steelers 16

Jacksonville Jaguars v. Baltimore Ravens

Both these teams are hard to watch, but the Jaguars have more injuries. I am going to take the healthier Ravens team today who rely heavily on Justin Forsett.  The Ravens win 21-17 to get their third win of the season.

Minnesota Vikings v. Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders are playing great football. Jack Del Rio has them fighting and competing in every game.  The Vikings however get Teddy Bridgewater back this week from a cheap shot and they dial up a healthy dose of Adrian Peterson.  Peterson rushes for 150 yards and scores twice.  Vikings win 21-20 over the Raiders.

New England Patriots v. New York Giants

The New York Giants are the only team that the New England Patriots have not beaten since 2008. That changes today, when the Patriots blow out the G-Men.  Tom Brady slings the ball for 400 plus yards and the Patriots defense shut down Eli Manning and company.  Patriots win 35-13 over Eli and the G-Men.

Kansas City Chiefs v. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos lost last week to the Colts and they will rebound this week. Manning has a new toy in Vernon Davis and they are going to utilize him quite a bit this week.  Expect the Broncos to win a close one against the Chiefs.  17-16 the Broncos squeeze by the Chiefs.

Arizona Cardinals v. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks may be without Marshawn Lynch, and that is huge for the Cardinals. The Cardinals have been a playing very balanced on offense and Carson Palmer is ballin.  I like the Cardinals to be the overrated Seahawks at home 27-20.

Houston Texans v. Cincinnati Bengals

A Monday Night Upset?  The Houston Texans are due, they are 3-5 but they are a much better team than given credit for. The Bengals have been blowing out people, but is JJ Watt their Kryptonite?  Deandre Hopkins has his way and is able to catch a deep ball over Adam Jones as time expires to pull off one of the biggest upsets in the NFL. Texans win 28-24.
