49ers cut Jarryd Hayne; Promote Kendall Gaskins
The San Francisco 49ers announced that they’ve placed preseason standout RB Jarryd Hayne on waivers Saturday and promoted RB Kendall Gaskins to their practice squad.

This is a very big surprise, and I am sure someone will pick him up after his preseason performance. If not it sounds like the team will re-sign him on Tuesday.
