Strengths:
-Good but not great arm strength, solid velocity on passes
-Has an extremely sturdy build that can take punishment
-Tremendous down-hill runner, tough to bring down
-Has displayed the ability to smoothly go through his progressions
Weaknesses:
-Accuracy comes and goes
-Ball placement is inconsistent
-Pocket presence leaves a lot to be desired
-Frequently takes off to run too early
-Lots of screens, designed quarterback runs and the overall simplicity of the Mississippi State offense make it tougher to analyze Prescott
Bottom Line: Although Dak Prescott has definitely shown he has gobs of potential due to his impressive physical tools, he still needs to make significant strides as a passer in 2015. If the Mississippi State Bulldog can improve his pocket presence and accuracy this coming season, he will be a hot commodity in the 2016 NFL Draft.
