Denver Broncos will work out James Casey on Thursday
Last week James Casey the tight end was released by the Philadelphia Eagles is becoming a hot commodity. The former Texans tight end will work out for the Cardinals this week as well as for his former coach in Denver Gary Kubiak. We are learning that on Thursday, Casey will be headed to Denver for a work-out.
Casey, 30, would probably love to reunite with coach Gary Kubiak in Denver after playing for Kubiak’s Texans from 2009-2012. Casey is a versatile H-back-type who can line up in the backfield and as a traditional tight end. The Broncos are expected to use the fullback much more under Kubiak.
