NFL Draft Diamonds has been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 3 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers. Where do you play college football?

Pittsburg State University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Doing community engagement activities such as youth football camps, back to school haircuts for Pittsburg’s youth, and small things like signing autographs for the kids after the games. Being able to build relationships with the kids of Pittsburg has been a fun part of my career.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Chemistry 2

Where are you from?

Wagoner, OK

Who is your role model, and why?

My parents. JD and Gina Wilson. They have done everything in their power to give me the best opportunity to reach success. While raising me with the morals, and character that I’m proud of. I hope to be as much of an impact to my children one day.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played soccer and baseball as a young kid. Football was my only sport as I was growing up.

Did you play any other positions in football?

In high school I played OL. While also playing all of the DL positions.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I’m very coachable. I take constructive criticism as a mature adult, and always take care of business. I’ll always be the hardest worker in the room. I am relentless in my pass rush. If I don’t get there I’ll continue to rush harder on the next play. I always give 100% of what I have.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for how a tackle sets in his pass pro. If he sets wide, or stays closer to the line. I look at formation tendencies so I can see pass or run faster. I need to know if the QB is mobile so I can keep my rush lanes tight to keep him in the pocket.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Vincent Brown former Pittsburg State OT.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Justin Houston he is skillful in his pass rush, plays hard, and is hard nosed in the run game.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I clean my cleats before each game, and listen to the same playlist of songs.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

My biggest obstacle will be people thinking the level of completion that I play against is not up to par.

What is your biggest strength?

Playing extremely hard, my skill set as a pass rusher, and a run defender.

What is your biggest weakness?

Being such a tough critic of myself.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’ll always give 100%, and will never be a satisfied player. I’ll be a coachable player. I’ll always represent the organization with pride and respect. I can accept whatever role I am given, and do my absolute best to help the team win anyway I can.

The Dallas Cowboys are my team. I never had a specific player that was my favorite.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My father, my grandpa Dub, and my grandpa Francis.

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

Help my mother pay some bills.
