Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

The coolest thing I have done was participated in facelife foundations annual summer 7 on 7 tournament which helps raise money for the youth football players.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Hardest class without a doubt was economics.

Where are you from?

I am from Memphis, Tn

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my brother the late Tray Walker, I inspire to be like him because of the drive and determination he had. He also taught and molded me into the Defensive Back I am today.

I played basketball, baseball and ran track.

Did you play any other positions in football?

Kickoff, Punt Return, Punt, Field Goal Block

At your position, what separates you from others?

My sense for urgency, the intensity level, I’m always juiced up for every play. I get the defense hyped when we take the field, you can’t go out there flat.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for tendencies, and bad habits that will give me an edge. Knowing when they are going to break out of a route, knowing who the QB is going to throw the ball too.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I don’t think there is one, probably a team, but not a player.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

It would be Kevin Johnson DB for the Texans. A lot of people say we have  the same playing style and intensity.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Before every game I come out the tunnel, I go to then endzone say a prayer salute God, and salute Tray Walker, and I scream thank you Jesus at the top of my lungs and at this point I’m in total domination mode.

demetriusWhat is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is heart, I’m small but I have the heart of a lion and I make plays and persevere.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is I add extra load on myself, trying to do my job and others because I know I can get it done, but I need to trust in my team members.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am a player that will do what it takes to get the job done and have the team going  in the right direction. I am a natural born leader and I fight until the end.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Favorite player was Brian Dawkins, favorite team Baltimore Ravens.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Tray Walker, Josphine Holmes, Tiffany Johnson

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

It’s cliche but I would buy my mom a house, I  have to make sure she is ok. It’s a must
