NFL owners are extending Commissioner Roger Goodell’s contract until 2024

Roger Goodell is packing NFL owners pockets and they love it. The Commissioner is not going anywhere according to Daniel Kaplan of SportsBusiness Journal/SportsBusiness Daily. According to his tweets this morning Goodell is getting a pretty hefty extension over 5 years. When complete, Goodell would have 19 years as a Commissioner of the NFL.
