Bears RB Matt Forte says it is not about the money, he wants Super Bowls
Former Tulane running back Matt Forte might not land a deal with the Chicago Bears, and is likely to test free agency. The problem is Forte is looking to land on a team that will get to the Super Bowl.
“It’s not even about the money,” Forte emphasized. “I want to be in the Super Bowls.”
I know he is 30 years old, but the guy is a machine. He can run and catch the ball well out of the backfield. Forte suggested that he would be willing to take less money to join a Super Bowl contender in 2016.
Matt Forte, Marshawn Lynch, Alfred Morris, Doug Martin, Chris Ivory, Reggie Bush, and Lamar Miller are probably all going to be available. This could be an interesting off-season.
