49ers had two veteran wide receivers in for a visit; Ted Ginn Jr and Jerome Simpson
Yesterday, the San Francisco 49ers had two veteran wide outs in for a visit. Both Ted Ginn Jr. and Jerome Simpson were in for a work-out yesterday.
Ginn Jr. was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals, while Simpson did not play last year.
Simpson was suspended for violating the leagues substance abuse policy. Simpson has had problems in the past with substance abuse, but he can play, and is a very solid veteran. The former Coastal Carolina standout could be a great and cheap option for the Niners.
