What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to play every position in the secondary, which has made me a versatile and adaptable defensive back. I also combine length and speed, two of the biggest advantages at my position. I’m a competitor who takes pride in doing whatever it takes to help my team win.

Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was coming back from a dislocated kneecap. The rehab process tested me physically and mentally because there were times I questioned whether I’d return to the same level, especially since before the injury I was having the best season of my career. Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I committed to my recovery every day and trusted the medical team that followed me through it. I’m proud that I was able to overcome that challenge, and I believe I came back better than ever. Going from competing every week to having to watch from the sideline was difficult, but it taught me patience and discipline.

What are your hobbies outside of football?

I enjoy producing music and have been doing it for several years. I also have a passion for video games and enjoy the creativity and problem-solving that come with them. Outside of that, I like learning about investing and personal finance because I believe in planning for life beyond football.

What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?

I’m willing to do whatever role is asked of me, and once I get an opportunity, I believe I can prove I belong on the field. I know I can make an immediate impact on special teams while earning trust on defense. Throughout my career, I’ve played every position in the secondary, which has taught me how to adapt quickly and understand the game from different perspectives. Because of that experience, I’m confident in my ability to contribute in any role my coaches need me to fill.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would support organizations that help children access education and sports. Every kid deserves the opportunity to learn and experience the life lessons that sports can teach. Playing sports brought me so much and I believe every young athlete should have the opportunity to experience those same benefits.

How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?

I’ve often been described as very coachable. If a coach is correcting me repeatedly, I take it as a sign that they believe I’m capable of more. I’d rather be coached hard than ignored because that’s how players improve. I believe the best players are the ones who are always willing to learn and make adjustments. Whether it’s improving my technique or correcting a mistake, I’m always looking for ways to get better and help my team succeed.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

I’d say our quarterback, Justin Quirion, is still one of the most underrated players in U SPORTS. He’s won two AUS MVP awards, yet I still don’t think he gets the recognition he deserves nationally. He’s a great leader and has been a huge part of our team’s success.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?

I would choose:

  1. Kobe Bryant: I’d love to learn more about his mindset and what allowed him to consistently perform at the highest level.
  2. Dr. Dre: I’ve been producing music for years, so I’d enjoy hearing about his creative process and how he built such an influential career.
  3. Jalen Ramsey: He’s one of the best defensive backs of this generation and my favorite player of all time.

If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?

If I were benched, it would probably be because someone was simply playing better than me at that moment. In that situation, I would take accountability, look at what I need to improve, and work even harder to earn my opportunity back. I believe competition brings out the best in players.

Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?

I like to keep my routine consistent every game. I eat a good meal a few hours before kickoff, stay hydrated, and listen to my old school rap playlist to get locked in. I’ve kept it simple ever since I started playing this game 15 years ago. If it’s not broken don’t fix it.

What is your favorite snack food?

I try to stay away from junk food as much as possible, but Skittles are definitely my weakness.

What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?

I believe I fit best in a defense that values versatility and allows defensive backs to play multiple roles. Having played every position in the secondary, I’m comfortable in both man and zone coverage, and I enjoy being in a scheme that lets me use my length and speed. My range allows me to cover a lot of ground, and I can close on the ball quickly.

What is your degree in?

Bachelor of Education with a specialization in Teaching English at the Secondary Level.

What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?

Like I’ve done with my money over the past few years, I’d invest most of it in safe, long-term investments. Beyond that, I’d probably treat my family because they’ve sacrificed so much to help me get where I am today.

Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?

I remember one specific instance where I made a mental mistake and bit on a pass from the running back, which resulted in a touchdown. I took full responsibility for the mistake and immediately focused on correcting it instead of letting it affect the rest of the game. When something like this happens, I can’t let it bring me down and I have to focus on the next play.

Name three songs, we can expect on your playlist?

  2. Notorious B.I.G – Notorious thugs
  3. Big L (feat. 2pac) – Deadly combination
