Is Denver Broncos RB RJ Harvey a RB1 or a Flex Play in Fantasy Football?

As of right now, I’d view RJ Harvey as a high-end Flex with RB1 upside, not someone I’d draft expecting to be my locked-in RB1 every week, but Dr. Jesse Morse has a different view. Here is my opinion, I’d draft RJ Harvey as a strong Flex/RB2 with legitimate RB1 upside, rather than paying for him as a guaranteed RB1. His talent is there, the question is whether Denver gives him enough volume.

Harvey finished his rookie year on a tear after earning a larger workload, averaging RB1-level production once he became the primary back.

RJ Harvey made an immediate impact for the Denver Broncos during his rookie season, appearing in all 17 games while emerging as one of the offense’s most versatile playmakers. He rushed for 540 yards and seven touchdowns on 146 carries while adding 47 receptions for 356 yards and five receiving touchdowns, finishing with 896 yards from scrimmage and 12 total touchdowns. Harvey’s dual-threat ability as both a runner and receiver made him a valuable weapon in Sean Payton’s offense and has him poised for an even larger role heading into his second NFL season.
