Huntingdon College Mourns Recent Graduate and Football Player Killed in Crash

The Huntingdon College community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of former Hawks football player Aidan T. Doss, who tragically passed away early Sunday morning following a single-vehicle accident in Lee County, Alabama. He was 21 years old.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred around 12:14 a.m. on Lee County Road 95 near Gregory Glen Road, roughly two miles north of Auburn. Authorities reported that Doss was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Just days before the tragic accident, Doss celebrated a major milestone, earning his degree in Business Administration from Huntingdon College on Thursday. A proud graduate of Mortimer Jordan High School, Doss spent four years as a dedicated member of the Hawks football program and was also active in the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
Friends, teammates, coaches, and loved ones now remember Doss not only for his commitment on the football field, but for the impact he made on those around him during his time at Huntingdon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Aidan’s family, friends, teammates, and the entire Huntingdon College community during this incredibly difficult time.
Prayer for the Doss Family
Heavenly Father,
We come to You with heavy hearts as we mourn the loss of Aidan Doss. Please surround his family, friends, teammates, and everyone who loved him with strength, comfort, and peace during this painful time. May they find hope in the memories they shared and courage in the love that will always remain. Watch over the Huntingdon College community as they grieve the loss of one of their own, and grant them healing in the days ahead. Amen.
