What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?
2025 season – 1st team all conference, 1st team all North Carolina, led USA south south with most receptions, 4th in school history for most receptions in a game, 226 yard receiving performance (3rd in school history) 2026 (up until week 7) – Top 10 in the country for receiving yard and receptions (50 catches, 743 yards, 3 tds), Two 200+ yard receiving games (16 for 221 and 1 td, 13 for 245, 1 td)
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?
I remember spring of 2023, I ended up going to East Carolina University. I feel like I had a great spring and everything was headed in the right direction. I get to my exit meeting, and my position coach tells me that they are headed a different direction, and they no longer needed me. Most people would have hung their head, but me, I found a way. I kept working, and eventually got invited to MTSU camp. I went and showed out, and ended up getting recruited to play there. Fast forward to 2026, i’m making a name for myself.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
I enjoy taking trips with my friends, listening to music, I can play the saxophone, and I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?
I can see myself playing any role that is required of me, or that is needed for the team to be successful. I know my primary position would be slot receiver/returner, but I can definitely be a weapon on special teams.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to the Children’s Hospital, because those are truly some of the strongest people in the world. They inspire me to keep going when times get hard.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?
I am able to take tough coaching and criticism, because at the end of the day I know that the coach wants the best out of me, and is pushing me to be the best version of myself. Once you become coachable, you can be come a 10x better football player
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
I would say it is Jimmie West. 6’3 wide receiver and can jump out the gym, big, strong hands and makes the big plays. He is only a redshirt freshman, and is top 3 in the conference, and 2nd leading receiver on the team behind me.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?
I would pick Lebron, because he is the reason I really fell in love with sports and basketball. I grew up playing basketball, and did not play football until my sophomore year of high school, and that all started with Lebron. I would also pick Steve Smith Sr, legendary Carolina Panthers WR. I grew up watching the Panthers play, and loved watching him make plays. We are both smaller receivers, so I know that there is a lot of knowledge I could get from him. Lastly, I would pick Rich Paul, because he is a big time sports agent representing all the top athletes, and that is something I want to do outside of football.
If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?
If I was benched tomorrow, it would have to be, because I am making too many plays and coach wants to see what someone else can do.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?
I have to eat a mandatory strawberry pop tart sometime before the game, I like to get to the training room early and get loose. Also, I like listening to Rylo Rodriguez before games. I get out to the field early with my QB, pray, get warmed up, run a couple routes, and I am ready to ball.
What is your favorite snack food?
Strawberry pop tarts
What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?
I would say spread or air raid, but can adapt to any offense I am in quickly.
What is your degree in?
I will be getting my degree in Sports Administration
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?
I would give my parents and siblings money
Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?
This season against Lagrange, opening drive, we had 3rd and medium, and the play call was to me. I ended up not making the play, but did not let it get into my head. I ended up having the top performance in the country that week with 13 for 245 and 1 td.
Name three songs, we can expect on your playlist?
The ride – Drake, CBFW – Rylo Rodriguez, Rags to Riches – Rod Wave ft. Lil Baby
