What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?
What makes me a top draft prospect is my mentality about the game.
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?
A time in my life where I faced adversity was my freshman year of college, I was redshirted and put on the scout team, I was running scout offense and defense and I was getting my you know what kicked and I was almost determined I was going to quit because it felt like I was a little kid again going against the bigger kids just getting my head smacked in. I learned and learned and kept pushing and I truly believe if I didn’t have that happen I wouldn’t be the player that I am today.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
My hobbies outside of football are the gym I love working out and being in good shape, I love the outdoors, I hunt and fish, I also love spending time with my family and also I love to listen music and cook as well.
What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?
A role I could see myself playing at the next level is I can see myself making an immediate impact on the team from a player perspective and also a leader perspective, one thing I am known for is I’m not a sugarcoater and whatever it is, it is.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
If I could donate to 1 cause in the world it would be to the American Cancer Society, both of my grandparents passed away with cancer and I have 2 cousins who have cancer currently as well and just recently I had another cousin who was diagnosed as well.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?
I’m a true firm believer that if a coach doesn’t get on you and wants you to get better and just simply be better, on the field off the field, I simply believe that coach has no connection to that player and or cares about that specific player as well. I truly believe good coaches coach tough love and it’s not about the person, it’s about the player in that moment who is being taught how to be better and I don’t reconcile on why so many kids and players nowadays can’t have coaches get on them because that shows me you don’t care about me/them. The greatest coaches in football are/were motivators!
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
The most underrated teammate at my school, I would have to say is Malik Brunner, big ole Tackle who can play both sides of the line, huge hands with a VIOLENT punch and quick feet and is also really versatile as well, not that loud very quiet kid who loves to put people on you know what.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?
The 3 people would be my Dad, my Mom, and Vince Lombardi. The first 2 are simple, they’re my parents and have done and sacrificed everything for me to be where I am at today. Without them I would be nowhere and not where I am at today and them simply telling me as a little kid to chase my dreams, I will always be grateful for them and will never be able to repay them back for what they have done for me. The last one is simply as well, Vince Lombardi the coach himself who put Green Bay on the map, the greatest football town of all time, the history in Green Bay, the coach himself who has the Super Bowl trophy named after him and so much more I truly think Lombardi is 1 of the greatest motivators of all time and I think that is what I find so interesting about him and how he took a winless team to 3 back to back to back championships.
If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?
If I were bench tommorow the sole reason for me being bench would be me getting in my head to much and being to emotional. I don’t think emotions are a bad thing, especially in the game of football theirs emotions all throughout the game and all throughout the 4 QTR’s. But I sorely agree that would be the reason for me being benched because I love to win, I want to win and I have the will to win.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?
My typical pre-game routine is throughout the week im studying the opponent, watching gamefilm, watching opposing offenses and also opposing offensive lineman up against who I am going up against that week. I’m watching for stunts/twists/games really anything they do on early downs to try and mess and fluctuate the offense as well. I also study any blitzes or any simulated pressures they might do as well on all downs. I typically watch any tendencies that they might do as well with also writing notes on how my guy will play each technique and also each down. I have a pregame routine and also a stretching routine that I do before each game/day, making sure every muscle that I will be using is warm, loose and firing to make sure I have an 1-0 day.
What is your favorite snack food?
Man, my favorite snack would have to be, this is hard for me I love a blend of sweet and salty, I love really any kind of trail mix, but my ultimate favorite would have to be a good ole Rice Krispie treat.
What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?
The scheme I feel like I would fit best in is, I love smash mouth football I love getting under center and moving north and south and getting after it, I was apart of a Wing T triple option in High School, I absolutely loved it getting to down block and climb vertical etc but genuinely I would love to be apart of a pro/west coast type of scheme.
What is your degree in?
My degree is in business management currently, I was a sports management major at my other school but my current school doesn’t have that program so I switched to business management but after university I want to be a firefighter.
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?
The first thing I would buy is probably some hunting land but I would probably buy my dad his dream fishing boat.
Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?
A I will never forget this my freshman year of highschool I was the backup center, the starting center got hurt I was the starter I think it was week 4 I was nervous first time starting in highschool. I was going the wrong way I was rolling the ball, terrible snaps, missing people falling down just looking bad. Halftime hit, my Oline coach came over to us just talked to us and then after he came to me and he was just talking to me and showing me on the iPad what plays I was messing up and going the wrong ways just simple stuff that I needed a reminder on, went back in actually dominated the second half they started running the ball behind me which we would call it 2 3 22 33 which are just A gap option runs and we cameback and won on a walk off drive I think it was 55 yards or 60 yards right up the gap. Running back ended with around I wanna say 180-200 rushing yds in 1 half.
Name three songs, we can expect on your playlist?
A 3 songs is very hard so I’m gonna do 3 artists 1. Motley Crue 2. Creed 3. Jason Aldean
