What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I will say first of all the physicality for sure but I would say just everything about being in a team. I feel like the chemistry that you built with the guys and everything that you do with the players that you play with on the field. I feel like that’s the biggest thing for me in football, it’s just how it brings everything together. You know I’m Canadian and everybody’s American, most of the time all people come from all over the countries that we all come together for one goal to win so I think that’s the biggest thing that I like the most about football.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I think the transition to going to play football in the states when I went to Clearwater Academy in Florida down I would say that is the best moment for me.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

I will say Davante Adams, I will definitely hang out with him just because I want to ask him so many questions about football. How he runs his routes. How different he is from everybody else.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I’ll say a pro style offense or an offense that really throws the ball a lot. I will say a balanced offense because that shows how the receivers are playing especially at my position like is the receiver just there to run routes and catch the football or is he going to go out there and just block..

What stands out about your film the most?

I’ll say my playmaker ability, and being physical. Just out there making plays and making the most out of my opportunities.

What should we know about Dylan Djete the person?

He’s a French Canadian, who is balling in the states.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I would say the feeling that it brings me when I step on the field is like nothing else matters at this time it’s just me, the guys and just go out there and be physical and make  plays and get that win.

Who is the most underrated player you played with and why?

I would say Jordan Davis, he’s a tight end from Wofford College. He’s the most underrated player. I’ve seen him make crazy plays. I’ve seen him block. I’ve seen him do everything that you want a tight end to do in the NFL, but he’s still getting overlooked .

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a playmaker, somebody who doesn’t shy away from working, has the best work ethic, but also brings everybody with him. Somebody that is not scared to talk to people especially in football and is not scared to bring people with him. That’s going to work towards one goal.
