Eastern Kentucky football player and his Dad were arrested for assaulting a coach after the game

A crazy scene kicked off after the Eastern Kentucky game this past weekend. According to reports, a father of a student athlete and a football player were arrested for assaulting a member of the team’s coaching staff.
After the game on Oct. 25, the coaching staff member was allegedly assaulted in the stadium’s parking lot by Charles Ingram, 22, and a family member.
Both, Charles Ingram V, and his father Charles Ingram IV were booked and arrested by EKU Police.
Both men were charged with four degree assault-minor injury, second degree disorderly conduct, and first degree criminal mischief.
EKU staff broke up the fight, but Ingram V the standout defensive back who transferred from Furman was suspended. The investigation is ongoing, but this is not a good look.
