What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
I am a guy who is first and foremost reliable; a guy who can be counted on to play his role and work as hard as possible to be successful in his role, whatever it may be; Someone who can make the contested catch in crucial situations and provide a spark to the team, and someone who is high effort all the time whether its running routes and catching passes, blocking in the run game, or making plays on special teams.I am also a guy who can do it all at the receiver position; I have the route running, quickness, and football IQ/knowledge of defensive schematics to be an effective threat in the slot, as well as the speed and strength to make plays on the outside.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I bring a lot of intangibles to the table that not a lot of guys have, the most important few being, work ethic, passion, effort and grit. I will continue to learn and get better as long as I am blessed to play this game. I push the limit in every workout because I want to be the best I can possibly Be. I play every play of every workout, practice, and game with my hair on fire because this is what I love to do and I would die for it. You will get nothing but my best effort all the time. I have been through my share of adversity and I thrive when the game gets gritty, when it becomes about who can dig deep and stay in attack mode through the mud.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would say youth sports and youth education. My experiences playing sports growing up were a huge blessing in my life. Not only did I find my passion in football, but I also learned life lessons that are hard to replicate anywhere else. Playing sports taught me to be ambitious, to set goals and to attack them with passion, and to commit myself to working hard and being disciplined. It also blessed me with most if not all of my lifelong best friends and relationships that I will carry with me forever. Any way I can get involved in providing these same opportunities to kids around the country and shaping the programs and schools that ultimately shape our youth excites me.
Who was your role model?
My parents. My dad is the hardest worker I’ve ever met. He has always taught me that anything is possible and to chase your dreams. He has big goals and works hard to make them happen. He is willing to do more and has a capacity to battle adversity unlike anyone I’ve ever met. He is a leader by nature and people, even strangers, flock to his strength and his grit. My mom attacks life with a burning passion, she lives hard, loves hard, and works hard. She willfight to the ends of the earth for what she believes in. Both of my parents made me who I am and are the reason I have been blessed with the gifts I have.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
I grew up watching the Raiders because they were my dad’s team. But I am loyal to the soil and ride or die, so my favorite NFL team is the one who gives me an opportunity.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Ian Sheehan, don’t be surprised when he has a breakout year this year. He puts in the work when no one is watching and the dude is a dawg.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Mediocrity, I can’t stand when people don’t do everything they can to be the best versions of themselves, and to grow and to get better, and have goals to chase. Also, people that drive slower than the speed limit in the fast lane.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
I think my favorite teacher is my trainer, Jordan Pendleton. I train with him and his team at P1 athlete every offseason and have since I was 15. Jordan was one of the first coaches I had who believed in me and my ability because he saw my potential. He has always pushed me hard, expected a lot out of me, and never accepted less than my best. His knowledge and experience as a player have been a huge guide stone in my athletic career. He’s had a big impact on my life, as an athlete and as a man.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
One of the biggest challenges I have been faced with was coming out of highschool with no division 1 scholarship offers. I walked on with zero guarantees, I was in locker 100 out of 100 my freshman year. I had an uphill battle in front of me, I had to earn everything. No one handed me reps or recognition. I had to put my head down and get to work. After my redshirt freshman season I earned a full scholarship and by the end of my collegiate career, I had started in 35 games. That experience taught me the importance of pounding the rock and becoming obsessed with the process and getting better. It also showed me that belief, hard work, and consistency can take you wherever you want to go. It helped build the foundation for how I attack everything in my life.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Costa Vida, a sweet pork quesadilla with a side of house ranch and I’m good.
What is your favorite snack food?
I like a good maple bar. For road trips I keep it pretty simple; a black bag of Chex mix, peanut butter M&M’s, and an Arnold Palmer sweet tea.
What is your degree in?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance and am working towards an MBA.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
1- Conor Mcgregor – He had a dream of becoming a world champion, he believed in himself and knew it was possible. He spent years and years grinding and working hard to makehis dream a reality. He is a huge advocate for the law of attraction and creating your own reality through your work, belief, and faith in God. A lot of his mindset, especially when he was in his prime, resonates with me.
2- David Goggins – He became obsessed with finding out what he is capable of, how far he can go, how much he can endure, and what he can accomplish. He lives in the journey and chases a goal post that continues to move. I think it would be cool to pick his brain and see what makes him tick in person.
3- Tom Brady – Overlooked to the greatest to ever do it. I know it is a result of obsession, preparation, and faith and I love to hear from minds like his. Plus like I said, he is the greatest to ever play the game I love.
What is your biggest weakness?
Early in my college career, I didn’t understand how important being on the exact same page as the QB was. I have always been fast and could get open, but learning to adjust routes based on your QB, timing and coverages, not just space, is crucial. I am continuing to grow my understanding of coverages and defenses and it has become a priority to watch film with the quarterbacks.
