Portland State not only lost the game to Oregon, one of their players lost his ear in the game

Portland State played Oregon this past week and while Oregon put a beating on PSU winning 81-7, there was one injury that trumped the loss.
On Tuesday’s edition of “The Bald Faced Truth” podcast, Portland State coach Bruce Barnum told host John Canzano that his team avoided any major injuries – except for one unnamed player who had “his ear ripped off.”
His EAR RIPPED OFF?
Not his entire ear, Barnum quickly clarified. “They sewed it back on, and now they say he has a concussion.”
Barnum said he believed the injury happened when the player had his helmet knocked off “and I think his ear didn’t come out of his helmet.”
The injured player will not face Wyoming this week, but he is recovering well.
