When discussing the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, everyone has differing opinions. I personally cannot stand Tom Brady, but he is the greatest quarterback of All-Time, whether you want to admit it or not. I created the top quarterbacks of all time and want to see your list. - Tom Brady: Tom Brady is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. He has won multiple Super Bowls and holds numerous records, including most career touchdown passes and most career passing yards.
- Joe Montana: Montana was a dominant quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers in the 1980s, leading the team to four Super Bowl victories and earning three Super Bowl MVPs.
- Peyton Manning: Manning had an illustrious career, setting multiple records and winning two Super Bowls, one with the Indianapolis Colts and another with the Denver Broncos.
- Johnny Unitas: Often considered one of the pioneers of the modern passing game, Unitas was a standout quarterback for the Baltimore Colts during the 1950s and 1960s.
- Dan Marino: Marino was known for his prolific passing abilities and holds numerous records despite never winning a Super Bowl.
- Brett Favre: Favre had a long and storied career, setting records for career touchdown passes and passing yards during his time with the Green Bay Packers.
- Aaron Rodgers: Known for his incredible arm talent and efficiency, Rodgers has been a dominant force for the Green Bay Packers, winning multiple MVP awards. Can he keep it going with the Jets?
It’s important to recognize that comparing quarterbacks from different eras can be challenging due to differences in playing styles, rule changes, and the level of competition. Additionally, personal preferences and biases can also influence opinions on who the greatest quarterback is.
There is no doubt Patrick Mahomes will be on this list soon, shoot even Josh Allen could get on this list, but I wanted to just be honest and pick the best in my time.
Ultimately, the “greatest” quarterback is a subjective determination, and football fans will continue to have lively discussions about this topic for years to come.
