Florida high school football coach arrested after pointing gun at another driver

Lake Wales High School football coach Don Wayne Wise Jr. is facing criminal charges after he allegedly pulled a gun during a road rage incident earlier this month.

The victim told police that Wise pulled his gun on them at the traffic light after their car merged into his lane multiple times. Wise reportedly held the gun at the for 30 plus seconds. He kept yelling at the car they pulled into his lane twice.

Wise denied any road rage incident took place but admitted to being in the area during that day. He also admitted to carrying a fireman, which he displayed to the detectives when lifting up his shirt.

He then would not answer any more questions from authorities.

Police then put Wise in a photo line up and the victims picked him out successfully. Wise was arrested.

If you do not know who Wise is, his team is amazing. They were undefeated last season going 15-0 and winning the District 8 State Championship defeating Mainland from Daytona Beach.

This is a horrible look for Lake Wales High School, and Wise was released after he posted a bond of 15,000 dollars.
