Sean Payton sounds like he has interest in Josh Jacobs! Could the Broncos go after the Free Agent RB?
Imagine going up against your division rival twice a year? That has to be one of the greatest things to do in sports. Facing your division rival would inspire me, and I am sure Sean Payton realizes that.
Sean Payton the new Broncos head coach joined Kay Adams and Josh Jacobs on the Up and Adams Show and Payton definitely seemed to shoot his shot.
I love what Payton said!
“He was always consistently playing well and so I’m glad he’s a free agent, I encourage everyone to look at him … maybe we look at him,” Payton said.
Jacobs is coming off his best season, rushing for 1,653 yards averaging 4.9 yards a carry. To fix Russell Wilson, the Broncos are going to need to find a way to eleviate pressure from their star quarterback.
Payton called Jacobs a downhill, physical runner, and that is exactly what the Broncos need.
