What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?

What separates me is my ability to lead, compete, and operate an offense. I take a lot of pride in preparation and knowing exactly what all 11 guys are on the field. I’m a quarterback who makes everyone around me better, and I’m constantly looking for ways to move the needle. I’m confident in my ability to make any throw on the field, extend plays, and lead a team. My work ethic and willingness to be coached will allow me to continue developing into the next level!

Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?

There have been plenty of times throughout my career where things haven’t gone exactly how I wanted them to. The biggest thing I’ve learned is that I can’t control everything that happens, but I can control how I respond. When things haven’t gone my way, I’ve used it to get better along with using it as motivation to work harder, prepare better, and become a better teammate. Adversity has made me who I am and has taught me to never get to high or low regardless of the circumstances.

What are your hobbies outside of football?

A lot of my life revolves around sports, but outside of football I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and staying active through activities like basketball, pickleball, tennis, golf, ping-pong, etc. I play it all! I also enjoy coaching and working with younger quarterbacks. Overall, I just like being around people and competing, so I’m usually doing something active.

What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?

My goal is to be a quarterback who can lead an organization in whatever way they need and earn the trust of everyone in the building. I want to compete for a starting job, but I also understand that you have to earn that opportunity. I’ll excel at whatever my role is when I get there and do everything I can to contribute, learn, and make the team better.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to organizations that give kids opportunities to play sports. Sports have had a huge impact on my life, not just as an athlete but in teaching me discipline, leadership, accountability, and how to work with other people. I think every kid should have the opportunity to experience those lessons.

How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?

I enjoy being coached! I know I’m not a finished product, and if someone is taking the time to coach me, it means they believe I can get better. I don’t take criticism personally. I listen, ask questions and then apply the correction immediately.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

Michael Bougie. He’s a guy who does a lot of things that go unnoticed. He works hard, brings energy every day, and makes the entire o-line and offense better!

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why did you choose them?

Tom Brady — I’d want to hear how he approached preparation, leadership, and longevity at the quarterback position.

Kobe Bryant — His mindset and approach to competition are things I’ve always respected. I’d want to hear how he developed that mentality and handled pressure.

Nick Sabin — I’ve read and listened to tons of things on and about Nick Sabin. In the coaching world there’s not many people who are more respected then Coach Sabin!

If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?

If I were benched, it would probably be because I wasn’t doing my job well enough. I don’t think there is much value in making excuses or pointing fingers. I would want to know exactly what I need to improve, get back to work, and earn the opportunity to get back on the field.

Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?

It starts the night before on visualing the game. By gameday, I want to feel like I’ve already played the game in my head.I like to be very prepared before a game. I review the game plan and call-sheet on the bus or in the locker-room pre-game and take a walk around the field to look around and take it all in.. Physically, I go through some arm activation before I go on the field for warmups. Then once I get on the field, I stay relaxed, constantly high fiving, fist bumping and talking with my teammates.

What is your favorite snack food?

Probably popcorn. Simple answer, but I could eat it anytime.

What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?

I can fit into a variety of systems, but I really like an offense that allows the quarterback to operate the entire field. I enjoy being involved in the run game, RPOs, play-action, and a strong dropback passing game. I want to be able to make decisions before and after the snap, get us into the right play, and use my athleticism when the play breaks down.

What is your degree in?

Exercise Science & Physical Education

What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?

I’d take care of my family first. They’ve invested a lot into me and have supported me throughout my entire career. We would go on a sweet family vacation somewhere warm!

Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?

I’ve made plenty of mistakes in games, whether it was a bad read, a bad throw, or a decision I wish I could have back. One thing I’ve learned as a quarterback is that you can’t let one play become two or three. I acknowledge what happened, understand why it happened, and then move on to the next play. My teammates need me to have a short memory and continue leading, regardless of what happened on the previous snap.
