What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?
In my opinion, versatility. I feel I can do a variety of things on the field.
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded?
Our team walked into a playoff game vs Western university as a heavy underdog. How we showed where we stood in the OUA that day I don’t think proud would be enough to explain it.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
Big outdoors guy. Being from Vancouver we have a lot of nature, lakes, ocean, mountains. Great hiking spots.
What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?
Someone who’s willing to learn and help. I just want to play football. I have personal goals for myself, but being apart of building something excites me.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Rick Hanson foundation. I’m a big Terry fox supporter but growing up and having someone in my life that was affected by physical impairment. I realize the light I could shine on the community that could feel overlooked in how the cities build with more accessibility.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?
First, I wouldn’t enjoy making the same mistake over and over. As a person, I’m not perfect. Same as an athlete. I will have things I will continue to strive for as long as I play. I enjoy being taught.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
So many guys deserve a shoutout. I’m gonna go with Caleb Sargent. He plays running back for us but the value he brings to our special teams unit is huge.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine?
Nothing special. Get my mind in the right space. Look forward to calling my family after.
What is your favorite snack food?
Soup and sandwich’s is underrated.
What scheme do you feel you fit the best in?
I feel I can adapt pretty well so I don’t have a specific scheme in mind.
What is your degree in?
Psychology
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?
It’s going straight into a savings account.
Describe a time in a game where you feel you made a mistake, and explain how you bounced back?
In my first game back to playing football in 2023. I was waiting on a specific play I felt I could’ve made a difference on. It got tipped and I needed to get my head around sooner. Same play came by in the 4th quarter and got my first interception. Felt good to get that one back.
Name three songs, we can expect on your playlist?
- Return of the Mack – Mark Morrison
- Slow down – bobby v
- Cigarettes and coffee – Otis Redding
