What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?
I bring a combination of football intelligence, physicality, and leadership. My experience at both the United States Naval Academy and Morgan State University has allowed me to operate in disciplined, pro-style environments while learning multiple defensive systems. I play fast, communicate well, and pride myself on being dependable in all situations.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I am intentional in everything I do — preparation, relationships, and performance. I am highly coachable, accountable, and approach the game with a professional mindset.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Youth mentorship and mental health initiatives, particularly for young men in underserved communities.
Who was your role model?
Christian Braswell of the Jacksonville Jaguars has been a role model for a long while. Alongside him, my grandfather, who has passed, was a masculine pillar in my family and played a major role in shaping who I am.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
Washington Commanders.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Erick Hunter. Even though he has received accolades at the HBCU level, a lot of people — even himself at times — don’t fully understand how good he truly is.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Lack of accountability.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Ms. Combs, my 4th grade English teacher. She taught me how to compile my thoughts and communicate effectively with the world.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Leaving the United States Naval Academy after three years and having to redefine my path. That experience forced me to grow mentally, trust myself, and recommit to my purpose.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Woodberry Forest dining hall — the good old days. Unlimited steak and lobster.
What is your favorite snack food?
Plantains.
What is your degree in?
English with a STEM-heavy background and Applied Liberal Studies. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Sean Taylor for his intensity and legacy, Eddie Murphy for creativity and perspective, and my future son — to understand who I’m working to become.
What is your biggest weakness?
Patience. I continue to emphasize trusting timing and allowing growth to unfold naturally.
Off the field: I emphasize intentionality in relationships, whether friendships or romantic connections, because who you surround yourself with matters.
