This Conference title game has the most at stake of any of this game this weekend because BYU has their season and College Football Playoff hopes on the line, meanwhile, a win for Texas Tech will get them a first round bye in the college football playoff and 3 weeks off to prepare for a quarterfinal matchup.
Joey McGuire and his team have won every game in blowouts in 2025 when they have their starting quarterback Behren Morton, with their only loss coming to Sam Leavitt, Jordyn Tyson and Arizona State, meanwhile BYU lost to Tech earlier this year and get them again in a rematch and the most underrated game of the weekend.
Jacob Rodriguez Heisman campaign lost some team, but he still likely will win the Butkus award and either the Bednarik or Nagurski he’ll be a major factor in limiting LJ Martin who needs a big game for BYU’s CFP chances to become a reality.
