What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?
- What separates me is my versatility and growth at my position. I came out of high school as a quarterback and moved to defensive back at junior college. So, I started from scratch with playing defense in college. This made it challenging for me at times, but because of this I am able to see the field differently. I understand where the offense is trying to go with the ball as well as the weakness in the defense. Throughout my career I have played cornerback, safety, and nickel. My size, versatility, and IQ of the game allows me to line up at different spots and understand the game better.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
- NFL teams should know that I am the type of player who gets better each and every day. I am always the hardest worker in the building, I am coachable, and willing to do whatever it takes to win.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
- If I could donate to one cause in the world it would be to young kids in the inner city who are in need. Sports and education gave me opportunities that changed my life, and I believe that every kid deserves those same opportunities.
Who was your role model?
- My role model growing up was LeBron James, because of his consistency, discipline, and work ethic throughout the years.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
- The Chicago Bears
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
- Dylan Rowsey
What is your biggest pet peeve?
- My biggest peeve is a lack of effort, I can’t stand when someone doesn’t give effort, especially in football.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
- My favorite teacher is my sophomore year high school offensive coordinator, Dion Gaston. He taught me not only the importance of football but school as well.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
- One of the hardest moments in my life was switching from playing quarterback to defensive back in college. It was challenging, never playing defense my whole career and making that switch in college. It was a humbling experience it taught resilience and made me mentally stronger.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
- Chick-fil-a, because of their consistency.
What is your favorite snack food?
- Grape Uncrustables
What is your degree in?
- Master of Business Administration (MBA).
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
- If I could have dinner with three people dead or alive it would be LeBron James, Martin Luther King Jr, and Kobe Bryant. I would choose LeBron for his longevity and consistency at the highest level, Dr. King for his leadership and ability to inspire change through communication, and Kobe for his mindset and commitment to mastering his craft.
What is your biggest weakness?
- My biggest weakness is being too hard on myself at times. I hold myself to a high standard and am always trying to be perfect.
