Oregon Ducks vs James Madison Dukes – College Football Playoff | Preview & Prediction
Dante Moore, Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks have a home game at Autzen in the College Football Playoff. They face Bob Chesney, Alonza Barnett and the James Madison Dukes with the winner facing Texas Tech in the Quarterfinals.
The Ducks have a top 5 defense and a top 5 offense in the country in just about every statistical category meanwhile JMU is much of the same, Wayne Knight has been incredible running the ball, he’ll deal with his toughest task by far of the season, trying to run through A’Mauri Washington, Bear Alexander, Teitum Tuioti & Matayo Uiagalelei while Bryce Boettcher and Dillon Thieneman are behind to wrap and rally.
The Evan Stewart injury before the season was a huge hit for the Ducks as he hasn’t played all year and would have been likely a top 10 receiver in college football, but the Dakorien Moore and Gary Bryant Jr injuries are far more impactful as they have been on on the field producing players in 2025 with their status still unknown for this game.
The Kenyon Sadiq injury was concerning but it looks like he is healthy for the extent of the Ducks playoff, so look for him and Jamari Johnson to be safety blankets for Moore in Eugene.
