Los Angeles Rams vs Atlanta Falcons | NFL Week 17 Preview & Prediction

Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Sean McVay & the Los Angeles Rams face Kirk Cousins, Bijan Robinson, Drake London and the Atlanta Falcons on the last Monday Night Football game of the 2025 regular season in the NFL. The Rams lost a pivotal game vs the Seahawks last week which may cost them the number 1 seed in the NFC for the Playoffs.
The number 1 seed comes with a coveted first round bye and it will be well deserved for one of these teams as they have clearly been the best two in the conference so far this season. The Davante Adams injury presents a key missing piece for the Rams offense as he likely doesn’t play with an injured hamstring, look for LA to utilize their 3 tight end sets with Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson.
The running back play in this game will be vital as the 2 of duos that are among the best in the league, look for Kyren Williams and Blake Corum to get 25-30 touches. The defensive line for LA is one of the best in the NFL with Jared Verse, Byron Young, Braden Fiske and Kobie Turner form with Nate Landman behind them and Emmanuel Forbes Jr is a playmaker who will have coverage duties of Kyle Pitts and Drake London.
The Falcons pass rush that has the second most sacks in the NFL, led by James Pearce Jr the Falcons first round pick they traded their 2026 first rounder to the Rams for and Jalon Walker the Falcons first round pick as well as Brandon Dorlus, Zach Harrison who have made Atlanta into a formidable front 7 that will cause problems for Stafford and the Rams.
The Rams clinched a playoff spot a few weeks and the NFC West is still a three team race and the Rams still have a chance to win it if they can beat Kirk Cousins and the Falcons and win in week 18. This will be an incredible game with massive stakes on the line, enjoy this Blitz With Blinder Video hosted by Josh Blinder.
