What is your favorite workout or drill and why?

I’ve always been a big believer in inside run. It’s something we used to set the tone for practice, set your pads and really nail down the basics of our run schemes for the week.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player in the next 3 years?

I’m looking to continue to play at the highest level I possibly can, wherever that might be. I feel like I’ve still got a lot more to give to the game of football and I’m continuing to push myself to be ready for that opportunity.

What is one thing scouts should see about your game and why?

I would say my consistent growth and improvement. I’m someone who I feel has my best football ahead of me. I’ve got a ton of college snaps and now pro snaps in two different leagues under my belt. I’ve been lucky to play with some incredible teammates and for some incredible coaches and I’ve tried to take a little bit from everyone to improve my game and I feel like it’s in a great spot.

What does a normal day look like for Eric Miller?

I try to keep it pretty consistent. I’ll get my speed or conditioning work done in the morning. Work as project manager for a contracting firm in Cincinnati and then get my lift in the afternoon. Schedule I try to stick to and really just keep everything consistent throughout the week and hold myself to that.

Which current or former NFL coach would you want to learn from the most and why?

Jeff Stoutland is someone I would love to learn from. The way he gets his guys to play as a unit and play with such consistent technique is something I try to study and emulate.

What was your favorite experience from the last team you were on?

Something I was proud of was coming into camp with Ottawa about halfway through and finding a way to make the team out of camp. Was extremely grateful for the opportunity, the offensive line room welcomed me and taught me the ropes and was an incredible experience overall.

Which one of your former teammates deserves a chance and why?

Tanner Knue is a high school teammate of mine. He spent most of the last year in Tampa Bay. He’s a guy who’s got an incredible motor, is always working. He’s pushed me and kept me going when we’ve trained together over the last few months.

What makes you an intriguing player that deserves to be signed?

I would say my ability to play anywhere across the offensive line and my ability to learn new systems. I’m someone who can play inside or outside and can pick up an offense very quickly. It’s something I pride myself on and something I think separates me from other guys.
