What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
It was something I always had a passion for, I was a very energetic kid, and my mom wanted me to do something, and I would play catch with my older brother, and I fell in love with it.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Senior year of high school I started getting interest from colleges and COVID hit so I had walk on at Western Kentucky and I ended up playing and earning a scholarship my freshman year of college and made my mom proud.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
Bettering myself as a player and attacking it every day and be the best version of myself as a person and as a player and I’m obsessed with getting better.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
Adrian Peterson, I grew up and he was who I tried to model my game after, and I’d love to pick his brain on how he trains and his routine.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My grandpa, he was a hardworking man, who provided for the whole family and never gives up on anything and he taught me that if I do everything I’m supposed to do and work hard.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
Inside zone, just being there’s so many ways it can play out in so many different plays and it can give me a chance to get downhill and I believe my best trait is being a north-south runner and creating yards by myself.
What should we know about Kye Robichaux the person?
Kye Robichaux is a relentless worker, who attacks every day the same and does whatever he needs to do that helps the team win because at the end of the day winning is what matters the most.
What stands out about your film the most?
If you put my film on you will see a consistent north-south with a high motor. I constantly create yards after contact, I have good hands and can catch the ball and if you put my tape on you will see a guy who wants it more.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I handle them the same way, I’m a man of faith I grew up in a church and my faith is where I derive my confidence from. I don’t separate the two and keep the main thing, the main thing.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A guy that brings a positive light to the locker room and puts everything they got into it and a consistent hard worker.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
The competitiveness and camaraderie, there’s a whole bunch of guys playing the same sport since they were kids going out and competing and that’s where my passion comes from, and I love that aspect of the game.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Jaden Williams, a receiver who played with me at Boston College my junior year, explosive wide receiver who constantly makes catches and he’s a dog.
