What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
I’m a complete package. I believe I’m physically and athletically gifted, mentally tough, and relentless. I’m also not just about athleticism. I feel very confident in the fundamentals at the wide receiver position. I perform at my best under pressure, and I bring a competitive edge and mentality every time I step on the field. I like to hold myself to a high standard amongst my opponents, and it shows up on tape.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’m a competitor. Since a child I’ve loved the thrill of competing against top athletes. I believe competing against “the best” brings out the best in myself. I come from a background of perseverance and hard work at all levels of the game as well in life. You’d be getting a player who will give 100% at all times.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to the homeless and those who are in need. I come from a background of struggle so I’m familiar with what it’s like to be in need. I believe in giving back with the resources that you have available to those who could benefit more from it.
Who was your role model?
My role model was my late Grandfather. He was the perfect example of what it takes to be a good man and provide for your family, no matter the circumstances. He is my motivation to continue doing what I love most. I learned patience, work ethic, perseverance, and sacrifice through him and all of those factors played a role into getting into the position I’m in today.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
Seattle Seahawks.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Braeden MacDougall. I’ve never met someone who knows how to turn it on and off better than him. He brings everything you need to the linebacker position; grit, passion, spirit, and 100% heart. Overlooked is a better way to describe him rather than underrated.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Those who complain about their “struggles”, when things could be a lot worse. It isn’t their situation that is bad, it’s their perspective on the situation that is lacking.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Mr. McCauley, the first teacher I ever developed a real relationship with. I’ve had the honor to be taught by him throughout all of my years in elementary school. He has had a significant impact on my childhood as he wasn’t just a teacher, but a mentor. His leadership and guidance helped shape my character as an adult.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment in my life to overcome was entering and starting my university career with a broken arm. A few days before leaving for training camp, I suffered a gruesome injury to my left arm. Clean break, which set me back both physically and mentally for a couple months. This prevented me from showcasing my full abilities as a freshman. Throughout that adversity, I found a way to persevere through the tough battles physically and mentally and earn a starting position before game one of my rookie season.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Chipotle, no question. Chicken bowls and burritos on the house 24/7! Very quick and convenient for an athlete.
What is your favorite snack food?
Protein bars. More specifically chocolate and peanut butter.
What is your degree in?
General Arts. After my career I would like to be involved with sports to some capacity whether that be coaching or training. I would also like to go back and get my real estate license and start selling houses.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My grandfather to catch up on life, Lebron James to pick his brain and understand his mentality first hand and what it takes to be the greatest, and my mother because without her, I don’t make it this far in life.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is being too hard on myself. I dont give myself enough credit for the work I’ve put in. Sometimes I need to remind myself to appreciate where I am and what I’ve accomplished so far in life.
