What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
My ability to adapt, process information quickly, and react to what I see on the field sets me apart. I take pride in my effort, always hustling to the ball and playing with high energy.
What is one thing NFL teams should know about you?
I’m both a leader and a student of the game. I’m always willing to learn, take coaching, and do whatever it takes to help my team succeed.
If you could donate to one cause, what would it be?
I would donate to brain cancer research in honor of my family member, Aaron Wilson, who sadly passed away at a young age from the disease.
Who was your role model?
My parents. They instilled in me the value of setting goals, staying committed, and working hard to achieve them. They showed me that perseverance always pays off.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
I don’t have a favorite team, but I always root for Florida teams since that’s where I’m from.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Dakota Cochran.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people smack when they eat
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
I have a long list of phenomenal teachers but if I had to pick one I’d say my 2nd and 4th-grade teacher, Ms. Roux.
Overcoming adversity defines character. What was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Being miles away from home while dealing with the loss of my cousin was extremely tough. I had to find the strength to keep pushing forward rather than taking an easier path by transferring closer to home. That decision helped shape me into the player and person I am today.
Fighting back from a potentially season-ending injury and earning my first career start as a sophomore was another defining moment. The experience taught me resilience and the importance of trusting the process.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?
Chipotle or Panda Express.
What is your favorite snack food?
Honey Buns.
What is your degree in?
Business Administration.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
- Aaron Donald – He’s one of the greatest to ever play my position, and I’d love to learn from his mindset and work ethic.
- Barack Obama – I’d love to hear his story firsthand and get advice on success, leadership, and life as a Black man navigating different spaces.
- My Cousin Aaron– Just to tell him how far I came and that there’s just more dream to accomplish until I’ve done everything I told him I would.
What is your biggest weakness?
I’m working on improving my play-action recognition, specifically transitioning more smoothly from run defense to pass rushing.
