What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

When I was a little kid, I always wanted to be a professional athlete, I tried basketball, soccer, other sports and then my mom signed me up for football and it was the best time of my life, and the rest is history.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My first day of football practice, it was the first time I was pushed to my limits physically, but it made me fall in love with the sport. In high school, first game of my junior year I had a big hit on the quarterback and that’s what built momentum for me in the game. My redshirt sophomore year at Boise State we were playing Nevada, and I had 3 sacks in the first half and that put me in Boise State history with legends. This past season at BYU we were playing Utah and we were down but we all as a team kept our faith up in that moment on the sideline.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

To show my talent and my skillset on the biggest platform on earth the NFL and sustain my legacy within this sport and get into the hall of fame both NFL and Canadian wise and to be a man of the year in the NFL by helping others and doing what I love.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Aaron Donald, because his mindset and skillset is something I admired. Justin Tuck from the Giants, because he’s the reason I got into football and the position I play. Ray Lewis, because of the passion and conviction he played with is something I admire.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom, she instilled in me the confidence within me to do whatever I put my mind to.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

3-4, I believe I’m more of an outside linebacker pass rusher and that allows me to play up in the run game but also go back in the flat and utilize all my skillsets.

What should we know about Isaiah Bagnah the person?

I’m a follower of Christ and everything I do is surrounded by that.

What stands out about your film the most?

Just how versatile I am, and you can see me in multiple different positions making plays physically and with a lot of intuition.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

How I follow in my faith and putting forth an effort to keep trying and going in the right direction and everything will work out.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They’d get not just a great football player, but a great person who cares about the community but also goes about their work with purpose and intent. And also, a great leader within the locker room and program itself.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The physicality of the game.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Crew Wakley, safety from BYU, I think he is very underrated because his mentality is rare but he has a lot of confidence then sometimes gets misunderstood like me sometimes.
