Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke will undergo surgery next Wednesday to repair a torn ACL, per his agent Casey Muir. News broke on Friday that Rourke apparently re-tore the crucial ligament last July before fall camp, playing the entire season with the injury.

According to Zach Osterman of The Indianapolis Star, Rourke did not even inform the staff of the injury heading into fall camp. Rourke also suffered a broken thumb in mid-October. His sheer toughness will undoubtedly be admired as he prepares for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Rourke completed 3,042 yards and 29 touchdowns en route to leading the Hoosiers to a college playoff birth before getting topped by Notre Dame 27-17 on December 20.

Rourke will still attend the East/West Shrine game to conduct interviews with NFL teams according to Eric Galko of the Shrine Bowl.
