What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
I knew the first time I played football at a young age I wanted to be a football player. I was
around the game so much as a kid and hearing the stories my Dad and Uncle used to tell about
their experiences and watching my older cousins play made it an easy decision for me.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moments from my football life are the relationships I have built and all the people I
have gotten to cross paths with throughout my career.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I am looking to continue playing as long as I can at the next level no matter where that may be.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
If I could hang out with any football player, it would have to be James Harrison. I grew up a
Steelers fan and still am and watching him play was an unreal experience. I also love his
passion for lifting weights and taking care of his body. He was also at a smaller school, an undrafted
guy which is awesome.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
I have two family members who inspire me. First, my dad. He grew up on the low-income side in
Virginia and ended up getting a football scholarship to East Tennessee State University. Since
his playing days, he has been extremely successful and has done an outstanding job providing for
our family over the years. The second is my uncle, he played in the MLB as well as the NFL
and attended Baker University as well years ago.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
My favorite offense scheme is the spread. It is my favorite because it allows not only myself but
scheme as well as being a threat in the passing game.
What should we know about Cole Fisher the person?
Cole Fisher the person is disciplined and the hardest-working individual in the room. My football
career has been filled with so much adversity, and I carry that chip on my shoulder that has
come with it throughout all my experiences and attack life the same way, all out.
What stands out about your film the most?
What stands out most about my film is my versatility. I am able to be successful in different run
schemes. My film also shows my ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, the ability to make
people miss, as well as punish defenders, and speed to get to the edge.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I handle challenges both in life and on the football field similarly. There is also adversity whether
on the football field or life and the biggest thing I try to focus on is learning from mistakes,
having a next-play mentality and making the most of opportunities when they present
themselves.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A team would get a player like me someone who can change football games, as well as a
great leader. I would have a positive impact on any locker room or field I am on and do whatever
is required of me whether that is special teams, leading/helping others, etc.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
What I love most about the game of football is the lessons I have learned that end up applying
to all aspects of life, as well as the relationships and friendships that come with it, it is a family.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
The most underrated player I have played with is Hendrix Johnson at NAU. He is a person that
leads by example and all he has done throughout his career is make plays and prove people
wrong.
