What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
My grandfather started me off on the football field at 3 years old and we had a neighborhood team and he started me off at a young age. And he took me to practice with him at 3 years old, I was too young to play but I did drills with the guys.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Just building the brotherhood and camaraderie with guys I still talk to since 2019. Winning the Sun Belt championship this past season my last year of college football.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I want to perfect my craft and learn more and feed my family and I love the game and want to take football as far as it takes me.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
Maurkice Pouncey, I play center, and he plays center, and he played for me and my grandfather’s favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mama, because I’ve seen her get through stuff as a single mother and she still keeps going and never quits on anything.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
Gap scheme, because when you get to pulling you make the defensive line feel you.
What should we know about Bryce Ramsey the person?
Sound and protective, I’m grateful, have 2 sons and I love to give.
What stands out about your film the most?
I always put in extra effort to follow the ball.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
Just have to take it head-on and we are put here for a reason and you just got to get through it no matter the obstacles. And there are two important days in your life, the day you were born and the day you find out why you are here and you just got to keep going.
What would a team get in a player like you?
I lead by example in the locker room, on the field, and in the weight room and just give everything I got and a hard worker especially when it comes to something I want.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
Just the competition of the physical sport and I’ve been to places I’ve never thought I’d be and how far it’s taken me.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Benito Jones from Ole Miss who is on the Miami Dolphins now, was a big dude and had the quickest get-off ever.
