What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Just growing up and being a competitor, playing sports with my cousins and football was the one that stuck with me the most after playing with my cousins.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Getting relationships with my teammates in high school and college that I still talk to today and just being a competitor and getting to compete every time I’m out there.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Going to the NFL that’s the next step for me and feed my family and give back to them when all is said and done.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Tyrann Mathieu, I always modeled my game after him and how he is off the field, and I would love to see how he approaches the game in all aspects and his instincts in the game.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad, because he always worked so hard and sacrificed and the way he worked is how I model myself and he always sacrificed for the good of his family.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Middle of the field safety in cover one, and then I see what the best matchup is for me based on the quarterback and make the best play on the ball.

What should we know about Anthony Petty the person?

I’m a real good dude and I hold people accountable and see the good out of situations and I’m someone who will help motivate someone if they need it.

What stands out about your film the most?

The instinctiveness and twitchiness and I play well in man as well as the post safety and I like tackling as well.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Just praying and keeping God first through all obstacles and doing the right thing.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A leader on and off the field and by example as well with character and a hard worker. Someone who holds teammates to a standard.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

It’s like a life game with adversity and the things it teaches you about life and how you are in football translates to how you are in life.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Keydrain Calligan is such a great athlete and he’s the most in-shape guy I’ve seen on the field and has a good product on the field and is versatile and he’s a real steal.
