What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
As a kid growing up I’d always watch Sportscenter before school so watching it so much made me want to get into it.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
The everlasting memories with all my teammates and the road trips.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
To get an opportunity to showcase what I can bring to a team.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
Ray Lewis, I’d learn as much as I could from him, he’s the best linebacker to ever play.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
Both of my parents inspire me to be great! They’ve always told me how special I was and how they always believed in my dreams.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
4-2-5 it helps me be a true inside backer where I’m most comfortable, any scheme can work for me.
What should we know about Zereoue Johnson the person?
That he’s a hardworking passionate individual.
What stands out about your film the most?
How I’m a true sideline to sideline LB and how confident I am in my game.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
For me, handling challenges is all about staying calm and focused, whether it’s on the field or in life. In football, I focus on the process, not just the outcome it’s about executing every play the best I can. Same with life, I try to focus on what I can control and not stress over what I can’t.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A playmaker, who’s passionate about the game and will do whatever it takes to be successful.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
The journey and how unique it is, Football teaches you a lot about life and how to overcome adversity.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Bishop Byrd a DE from KWC, he’s one of the best DE’s I’ve ever played with. Very high motor.
