Former NFL Quarterbacks’ son sentenced to 3-years probation for fatal-hit-and-run in Louisiana

The guidelines for some of the world’s crimes are pathetic. Yesterday, a Louisiana judge sentenced Walter Andrew Brister IV, the son of former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Bubby Brister to three years probation.

Yes, three years probation for a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a man walking near LSU back in 2022.

Judge William Jorden sentenced Brister to three years of probation including 250 hours of community service.

The judge said half of his community service hours must be spent on litter detail.

He was also ordered to complete a driver improvement program, speak to groups about the dangers of drinking and driving, and refrain from all alcohol and narcotics.

Brister pleaded guilty to the charge. The man killed was a father of 2, and 44 years old. Jude Jarreau was struck by Brister, who was in an SUV, and fled the scene.

I am sorry, but three years probation for leaving the scene of an accident and not even attempting to provide aid is pathetic.
