Walter Brister IV, a 21 year old kid made a bad decision and it is going to cost him. The son of Bubby Brister the former Steelers quarterback was arrested and charged following a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred near LSU over the weekend.
According to police reports, the younger Brister is a quarterback for Northern Colorado. The 6’5 gunslinger is coached by Ed McCaffrey a former teammate of Bubby.
Brister has been charged with felony hit-and-run, after he hit an LSU fan Jude Jarreau on Ben Hur Road.
A bad decision is going to haunt this man for the rest of his life. I feel bad that this happened, and send my condolences to the Jarreau family as well.
Please keep the parties involved in your prayers during this tough time.
