Texas High School football player dies after suffering cardiac arrest
Micah Kirven, a Mexia High School football player in Texas was hospitalized after suffering from an asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest early this weekend.
We are now learning that Micah has passed away.
The school district released this statement;
“All of our thoughts and prayers are with the Kirven Family and our Blackcat Family today,” The Mexia Athletics Facebook page states, “We ask you keep his family, his teammates, his coaches, and the Mexia Community in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this difficult time.”
Services for Micah will be held on Friday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Mexia High School Auditorium.
Mexia Athletics is holding a fundraiser for Micah’s family by selling t-shirts and all proceeds go towards the family.
