Indiana High School Football Star was Shot and Killed in a Triple Shooting
Bryce Gerlach, an 18-year-old football player at Corydon Central was shot and killed as an innocent bystander.
There was a dispute between two groups at the Harvest Homecoming in New Albany Saturday night when shots were fired. Gerlach along with a 22-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were shot as well.
Several persons of interest have been identified but no arrests have been made.
Gerlach was a top-rated kicker/punter according to Kohl’s Kicking.
Gerlach recently competed at the 2024 Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He has worked hard on his punting and competed in all three at the event. His overall score on field goals was 19 points and his kickoff score was 97.90.
