West Florida Football Player Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges
West Florida’s star pass rusher was arrested on Thursday Night for sexual assault charges.
According to reports, Kyriee Lewis-Jones, 21, is charged with two counts of sexual assault on a victim 18 or older. He’s also facing a sex offense charge regarding video dissemination.
Lewis-Jones is a defensive lineman who has 2 sacks on the year and 9 tackles. Just last week he had a pick-six for a touchdown.
Lewis-Jones transferred from William Penn University in Iowa. He is a native of Eight Mile, Alabama.
No details have been released at this time about the charges. Lewis-Jones is being held in Escambia County Jail without bond.
Lewis-Jones has been suspended from the team indefinitely.
