West Virginia State Linebacker was Killed in a Home Invasion
West Virginia State University’s senior linebacker Jyilek Harrington was shot and killed just a day before his home opener football game against his former teammate.
Now police are reporting that it was a home invasion was the cause of death. Harrington was shot multiple times in Charleston, West Virginia.
The incident is being investigated as a home invasion and homicide.
The North Carolina native recently transferred to WVSU from Carson-Newman University at the start of the year.
He was set to play his old team the day before he was murdered.
