West Virginia State, Carson-Newman postponed tonight’s game after a football player was murdered
Tonight’s football game between West Virginia State University and Carson-Newman University has been postponed until tomorrow night.
This comes after WVSU found out that their senior linebacker Jyilek Harrington was shot and killed on Wednesday night.
The crazy situation is Harrington played at Carson-Newman before transferring to West Virginia State University.
Police are saying that Harrington was shot multiple times, and have labeled his death a homicide.
Jyilek Harrington was a Charlotte, North Carolina native. The game will be pushed back to Friday night at WVSU.
Please pray for Harrington’s family, and former teams and coaches.
